Payton Technology provides leading-edge back-end services of packaging
and testing for memory semiconductor manufacturers. Our goal at Payton
is to reduce the cycle-time from wafer through finished IC by adhering
to efficient and stringent quality controls, and our current capabilities
include, but are not limited to, complete package and test systems
for both TSOP (Thin Small-Outline Package) and BGA (Ball Grid
Array) devices. Whether the needs of our customers lie in packaging
or testing, or both, we are experienced and flexible to meet the most
diverse requirements. With our sister company, Kingston Technology,
extending our service offerings into module assembly and testing,
we bring renowned logistics and an established distribution channel
to our customers. The Payton-Kingston model has redefined memory supply-chain
management, delivering memory to the market in record time.
Payton Technology Corporation received ISO 9001 certification in December
2000. The ISO 9000 organization originated in Europe in response to
the growing market need for a set of guidelines and requirements of
quality management and quality assurance. It is currently adopted
in over 90 countries and is applicable to a wide selection of industries.
Its certification is used as a means to identify companies that visibly
focus and commit to ensuring the best possible products and services
to their customers. ISO 9000 is a completely voluntary certification
that is achieved by a rigorous registration audit and regular external
surveillance audits by third party ISO assessors.
In our commitment
to excellence in this area, Payton and Kingston undergo regular audits
by third party ISO assessors, customers, suppliers, and our employees.
The results of these continuous evaluations are utilized to improve
and strengthen our current quality management system. We share the
benefits of our ISO 9001 certification with our customers and take
pride in our commitment to customer satisfaction.

Compliance Statement
Environmental Management System
In response to the growing need to identify and reduce the impact our
products and services have on the environment, Kingston's top
management team has committed to the investment and implementation of
Environmental Management Systems for each of our worldwide
manufacturing sites. These systems are modeled to be in compliance
with the ISO 14001 standard, which assists companies in the creation
and maintenance of an Environmental Management System.
Certification to the ISO 14001 standard demonstrates Kingston’s
commitment to proactively addressing our impact on the global
environment.
ISO 14001 is the internationally recognized standard for Environmental
Management Systems. The ISO 14001 standard seeks to synchronize
valuable environmental principles and practices with a goal of helping
companies determine the environmental issues associated with their
activities, and to manage them successfully. While the standard does
not contain specific performance requirements, it does include
requirements for commitment to the prevention of pollution, as well as
compliance with regulatory requirements. More importantly, it
recognizes a company’s positive impact on the environment, achieved
through managed performance and continual improvement.
